Diaper Cakes Make Great Gifts
Baby showers can be a fun time for everybody involved. Seeing all the parent-to-be's friends can be great - not to mention sampling the refreshments and admire those custom-made diaper cakes being used as centerpieces! But buying gifts can often be a lot more stress than fun. How do you know what a newborn baby needs?
It is not mandatory to provide a registry to guests, but when one is provided, it certainly makes finding gifts a much more relaxed process. Baby clothes can always be purchased separately, of course. Any item that comes as part of a layette set would be appropriate for a baby shower. And they are different to wedding showers in that you don't have to worry about bringing the same gift as someone else. No mother wants only one shirt for their newborn.
